This concept for a high-end concierge interior design in Manchester redefines the arrival experience for a luxury residential development. Moving away from the traditional, sterile lobby, the brief was to create a warm, hospitality-led environment that functions as a genuine extension of the residents' living space. The design intent was clear: to establish an atmosphere of immediate comfort and understated luxury.

A Multi-Sensory Experience

We approached the design not just visually, but experientially. Drawing inspiration from the tactile richness and established aesthetic of Soho House, the palette is grounded in deep, earthy tones and natural materials. We also introduced a layer of sensory design often overlooked in commercial spaces—scent. The integration of amber oud notes ensures the environment feels immersive and established from the moment of entry, creating a multi-sensory commercial interior design that lingers in the memory.

Bespoke Detailing & Flow

The spatial layout centres around a curved reception desk, designed as a sculptural element rather than a barrier, softening the transition between the street and the private residence.

  • Layered Lighting: A carefully curated lighting scheme shapes the mood, allowing the atmosphere to shift from bright and welcoming in the day to intimate and moody in the evening.
  • Tactile Finishes: We utilised a mix of soft fabrics and robust natural materials to create depth.
  • Amenity Zones: Bespoke seating areas are positioned to encourage residents to pause and dwell, transforming a transitional hallway into a functional social hub.
The Result

This project aims to set a new standard for luxury hospitality interiors in Manchester, UK. By blending the operational requirements of a concierge with the comfort of a private members' club, the concept delivers a space that is timeless, sophisticated, and deeply welcoming.
